Notice of Security Incident: Important Information for Patients

You may have heard about the recent Change Healthcare (CHC) cybersecurity incident, which impacted many health care providers across America. CHC is a vendor to Texas Oncology’s billing agent (US Oncology), providing services related to billing and collecting insurance claims. We want to share information received from CHC regarding the breach.

At this time, CHC has not confirmed that any Texas Oncology patient data has been compromised, so we cannot say if your data is involved. CHC announced that “a substantial portion of the people in America” could have had some protected health information leaked because of this incident and continue to investigate. If CHC determines that your data was included in the data breach, CHC will notify you and provide support.
