Telemedicine appointments are available for patients who reside more than an hour away, but within Texas state lines. The proton center also offers translation services – please note this service requirement when requesting an appointment.

Telemedicine does not completely eliminate the need for patients to travel for treatment and in-person doctor visits. But, the robust communications technology effectively extends the reach of Texas Center for Proton Therapy by allowing some consultations to take place remotely.

During the coronavirus pandemic, we have grown telemedicine services to allow physicians to evaluate patients that have infectious risk without bringing them into the clinic. It also allows us to continue to actively follow our regular patients while keeping our clinic volumes low.

Currently, telemedicine from Texas Center for Proton Therapy requires patients to follow these instructions to request a consult.
